Milwaukee Brewers owner Mark Attanasio is being forced to dedicate a $2 million beachfront property for public use after his company allegedly used heavy machinery to rip sand and rocks from a protected California beach to shore up his Malibu mansion.

The California Coastal Commission voted unanimously Thursday to approve a settlement requiring Attanasio's company, 2XMD Partners LLC, to restore the damaged shoreline and dedicate the multimillion-dollar property for public use in eastern Malibu.

You cannot fight the ocean. The ocean will always win. Erosion will always win. No matter how many billions of dollars you have.

They're fighting swamps and large lakes more than a sea. And when windmills breakdown they will eventually lose again. They may not be around more more by than thou.

So many examples of land reclamation, it is just a question of how much effort you are willing to expend. Kind of like mowing a lawn nature is always there, how willing are you to deal with it.

The origional post is hillarious though, glad to see the guy lost his property after stealing from public land.
