No surprise really, those that don't offload their thinking understand more and thus can do better at the set tasks and exams etc.

LLMs, yes. Actually useful 'AI' like neural nets, and other such things, no. There is actual useful 'AI' being developed and studied in universities and the like, but LLMs aren't really useful in the grand scheme of things.

Not at all actually. The best users of AI are those that use it to supplement and extend their own real expert performance, not as a replacement for it. See centaurs vs. reverse centaurs.
