Collecting fares no

Job action with no downside for the public and big downside for company. Upkeep and maintenance still cost money with nothing coming in except people with monthly passes.

The company gets a very good incentive to negotiate in good faith because the longer they run without income the harder their pocketbook gets hit.

Awsome. Although hope that even when a worker friendly CBA comes it gets people thinking "hey do we really need fares for mass public transit?"
