Candace owens and Tucker Carlson own maga now the vitriolic mass which is maga isn't actually beholden, and if you want to know where things are going, you watch the first movers. All of the people who still have an audience moved on from towards a more general white nationalist agenda months ago. Even the Nazis see sticking with trump as a disaster

I think he’s as dangerous as any Republican candidate can be. He’s young, he’s got name recognition and has been practicing his angry MAGA act to the point of credibility for some time. Most importantly, he is learning at the master’s knee how to control the instrument that is the MAGA voting block and won’t fail to apply those lessons in spades when it’s time for him to run. I am dubious about whether Trump voters will turn out for him, but I can’t imagine anyone better positioned to make a run for them than him. Remember in Trump’s first term how we all said “oh shit, now that’s he’s shown our government to be more norms than law, what happens if someone actually smart comes along to exploit that?” JV Dunce could be that person.
Dangerous to republicans maybe. Just like Hillary as a forgone conclusion was dangerous to Democrats in 2016, and Biden was dangerous to Democrats in 2024.
It was pretty clear JD overstayed his welcome before they took office. Arguably before the campaign was over. The donut shop video was a classic.

I feel like Tucker is going to be active as a politician and it's going to destroy the country if we don't see a federal Mamdani-tier populist before it happens. Tucker's extremely effective at achieving rhetorical goals while also being an absolute Nazi shitstain and above all liar, who has never showed his true face to a camera.
Tucker won't get it because he's anti israel. Now anyway, obviously he's cynical, and could embrace israel, but given everything that's happened I am not so sure the power brokers wouldn't still step on his bid. Maybe he could take it anyway idk, but without moderating his israel stance, they would kill him if he was going to win, you better believe it, that is where we are at.
The one to watch, is RFK, only his speech impediment gives me pause in thinking he will get it.
I also have to wonder if James Donald Bowman here remembers that Trump sent a violent crowd to hang his last VP. It's a disposable job for scapegoats.
