My poor wife has to deal with my adhd all the time, which includes cooking. I can't stand cooking, and have always looked for ways to avoid it. I've seen lots of people on here express the same sentiment, and I'm curious if anybody has any advice? What works for you to trick your brain into cooking?

Buy a rice cooker and just throw in what you want to eat. If you're willing to pay a higher cost, there's precut stuff at the grocery store or you can get frozen veggie bags as well as seasoning bags. For example I made myself a stew, shaved beef with a potato and a carrot and a can of seasoned beans, and some beer for liquid. Took maybe a few minutes to throw everything in the rice cooker and I just press the slow cook option.
