This has been in my wallpaper & random image collection for a while. Unfortunately I forgot the name but I remember that they are tiny in real size, just a millimeter or so. Maybe somebody recognizes them?

Man, slime mold is cool as fuck!
It actually exists as a multi nucleated single cell, then divides when it's time for reproduction. It actually shows signs of intelligence and is at least partially responsible for the rail system in Tokyo.
