Why is the place with the best food labeled "famine"
It’s the European equivalent of extreme poverty. But by world standards, they’re doing just fine lol.
Was gonna say, maybe I'm just not aware of it, but France had famine in it much later than the Balkans . . . .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_famines
I was gonna say they miss the wine and fancy cheeses, but now that I think about it the wine selection is actually fairly solid, and you don't get much fancier than Pule.
That region includes some of the highest wine producing countries in the world
