sometimes for just a moment i resent non-communists because they get to be stupid and unaware of the greater evils of the world

You aren't alone. I have expressed similar to this to every single commy friend I have and every one of them has sympathized with this or a similar feeling. "Sometimes I just wish I could be as ignorant as them and just only care about eating garbage food and watching whatever trash TV after work and that's as my life. Then I go to work and complain about how fucking hot it is with literal not a single hint of knowledge about climate change." Pretty close to a rant one of my friends sent me one day, unprompted, and I knew he was talking about his roommate.

What's worse is trying to teach people and the just, complete and utter not giving a shit about anything at all that they do. It's not just that no one's taught them, it's when so many just, don't give a fuck.
