weird how that works, isn't it? it's almost as if... you approach people with assumptions about them, it tends to piss them off.

WTF are you on about. They are not nobodies they were both established writers. who were in their mid 40s when they wrote it. one of them was George R R Martin' writing assistant for years.

you think i'm deeply angry... and you can't even get your basic facts straight...

it's now ire man, it's called facts and context. Sorry if they offend you so much. Lots of shitty books and tv shows are very popular and enjoyed by many people, and then entirely forgotten about a decade later. And lots of 'nobodies' lean into their mythology that their success was random and spontaneous rather than the product of years of work and the right social connections.
