And that's carbrain costs, that doesn't even include like biweekly washes or the yearly inspection because they're "trying to preserve value". Dawg just buy a perfectly serviceable toyota aygo for like 8k and run that fucker in the ground. What do you mean you pay like 400€ a month for 60 months at 7% APR before the thing is even insured or moved a single meter.

It is honestly worth it for a lot of people to put together how often they fully use a motor vehicle and look at car payments versus delivery or car rental these days. Cars are so expensive now, even used ones. And insurance is crazy. I personally haven't owned a car in almost twenty years. Do I benefit from others having cars? Certainly on occasion. But like, I don't need one daily or even weekly. I get around with a bike and public transit just fine.

A lot of folks in my city are replacing the "second" car in their family with a cargo e-bike. It makes so much sense.
