Hey all not new to the fedi, but I am new here. Ill be moving down to melbs soonish so thought it a good time to say hi. I have been lurking for a whilst.

Thanks for the welcomes all. I am currently overseas, have been for a few year and now heading back. Restarting life in Melbourne after QLD, don't know a peep in melbs. Looking forward to the legendary coffee and the rain. Not looking forward to the move.

Seems chill and fun in here, always good to see.

Hiya! We have cats and do breakfast

[โ€“] Cherry@piefed.social 4 points 4 days ago (1 children)

With the cats? joking. Who does not like cats and breakfast.

[โ€“] Catfish@aussie.zone 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Of course. Try telling a cat they are uninvited to breakfast and see how many toes you have left...

I am not silly enough to think a cat would listen to a human.

Heyo, Where are you moving to? Living near work is premium, else a tram/train line.

Not sure yet, I don't have a job, don't have a house, don't have a car. Plan is find a holiday let and start looking for all.

I have an old colleague in Geelong, she says its nice there.

G-town is nice. It's a quick train ride into town.
