Seriously, like, I have a Mozilla account for syncing but holy fuck it only syncs bookmarks. I have to fucking reconfigure every goddamn setting ever time I reinstall my OS or change laptops. It would be so goddamn easy to just send some fucking JSON to a server somewhere but no, they're coming up with new logos and mascots and AI bullshit. It's 2026 and I can't sync my settings.

You can copy the config folder between machines. I've been using the same Firefox profile since ~2009.

I solved this the hard way, with Home Manager
