Does "survivors" now mean something more specific than what it says? Survivors of what? Fire, floods, car accidents, falling out of a tree? I feel like I'm just supposed to know, but I'm really not sure.

"Survivor" in this context tends to refer "Survivors of abuse/assault". The use of the term "victim" is generally not the preferred term. I quoted the description of the movie so they would know what survivor meant in this case.

It wasn’t a bad faith interpretation.

Yeah the incel comment was added in after the description of the movie started getting a bunch of downvotes.

I literally quoted the description of the movie from the website.

If that’s enough to upset people, I don’t really care if I’m being snarky.
