If GrapheneOS stops supporting future Pixels, and Motorola is only targeting the flagship market for their compatible phones, we're looking at truly dark days ahead.

I thinks there's a bit much doom and gloom right now.

If new pixels don't support GrapheneOS that will suck.

If Motorola comes thru with GrapheneOS support next year, we will be back to where we are now. 1 manufacture, but at least it won't be google anymore. Yes, its only on their flagship, but hardware trickles down within a few years. I'd be surprised if the whole 2030 line up isn't supported (assuming they don't drop the ball).

In my option, if anyone has an older phone, they should consider getting a new or used 9 or 10 to get through the next few years, while we wait and see what happens.
