Responses that completely destroy the original argument in a way that leaves little to no room for reply - a targeted, well-placed response to another person, organization, or group of people.

The following things are not grounds for murder:

Rules:

  1. Be civil and remember the human. No name calling or insults. Swearing in general is fine, but not to insult someone else.
  2. Discussion is encouraged but arguments are not. Don’t be aggressive and don’t argue for arguments sake.
  3. No bigotry of any kind.
  4. Censor the person info of anyone not in the public eye.
  5. If you break the rules you’ll get one warning before you’re banned.
  6. Enjoy the community in the light hearted way it’s intended.

I think you're over-thinking this. Trump is acting like a fool. The best response is to just laugh at him when he acts like a fool.

Sure there are foolish things he does that has serious consequences, those need a serious response. This isn't one of those things.

On this? Laughing at him is the best and most honest response.

He said he might also rename the Atlantic and/or Pacific Ocean too. Someone needs to tell him it's a good idea and he should definitively do that. Then we laugh at him some more.

It's the difference between walking away from a blowhard threatening to fight you, and telling them to fuck off, before walking away. A twitter post on it is about as casual a fuck off as a government can give.

Wab Kinew was laughing his ass off about it.

I feel like the general tone of Carney's message is "ok weirdo, you do you" but just in a dry and mature way. Which seems about right.
