Nah, we can do better.
The city of Ottawa in Ontario has a Central Park area with streets named after famous NYC landmarks and people. There is a Trump Street.
There is already an effort to rename it led by the city counselor for the area, he's going to look into consulting the people on the street to see if they want the hassle of updating all of their stuff. Some of the actual suggested names are "Taco street" and "Obama Street"
Carney needs to declare Lake Michigan as Lake Canada. If he doesnt I'll be supremely dissapointed.
The lake Ontario thing is a dig at Doug Ford.
Otherwise the better candidate for lake America is the one they outright stole from Canada in Manitoba
And just to think, San Francisco almost wasted its effort renaming the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant to George W. Bush Sewage Plant, but didn't. Well well well, what an opportunity!
Reminds of that time when they renamed something the John Oliver Memorial Sewer Treatment Plant
I don't understand this urge. Wastewater treatment plants deal with raw sewage, sure, but their whole purpose is to make it better than it comes in. That's real, tangible good. Why dirty their names? They already take the rest of our literal crap.
I know that at least part of the point is that they're full of shit.
