Dragon Warrior 3 on GBC... I spent, I shit you not, 20+ hours wandering around the final boss' castle looking for the door to fight him. I know it was ~20 hours cuz I grinded that area on the ride to/from school for over a month.

Overall I loved the rpg. But killing the final boss in less than 2 rounds really didn't feel worth it haha. Pretty sure I never plugged that game cartridge in again.
