I oiled it up according to the instructions, unfortunately it takes a month to cure.

I'm planning on putting polyurethane or some other film finish on top because the oil is quite dull as is. Maybe I'll try burnishing it. I dunno.

A whole month?

Hardwax oil would have taken a day, and doesn't need a sealant.

I wanted to use things that I already had on hand for the project, and there's no rush. I'm just impatient

Did a lot of tables and kitchen tops with it. Fantastic stuff, really resilient (just refresh periodically), shows the wood nicely, and is hard enough to use after 24 hours.

Only thing is a light smell which wears off after a week.
