$2.13 an hour??? And the president has the gall to call other places "shit hole countries". I always had an idea it was bad in the US, but this is basically slavery with extra steps. JFC

Yeah, jobs that are traditionally tipped here have that as a base rate of pay, with the expectation that tips will make up for the rest. It's a terrible system.
