The relevant section is blunt. "The Software is licensed to you, not sold," the EULA states. "You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and personal license to play or use the Software for your private, non-commercial use on the system or device it was intended for."

The terms also restrict renting, modifying, or obtaining games through unauthorised means. Nothing in there is new, technically. Sony's EULA has always said this. The timing is what makes it land differently right now.

Used devices are a thing.

Also, what are you doing on your phone that ypyve noticed a performance difference in the last several years?

Nothing I know anyone in my life, does anything with their phone, that one from 5 years ago couldn't so just as well (with proper software updates, like graphine).

Tl:;Dr why do you need the latest phone?

I never said I needed the latest phone, and I'm not going to argue a point I don't believe in. I have a 7 year old Android phone that still rocks. I also have a 2 year old iPhone. Guess which one has better typing? And a few other things better?

All newer phones are good for is AI.
