Modern tripple A games are shitty 9 times out of 10, and remaining good ones are way overpriced. But gaming is on all time rise, the amount of incredible games around, made by passionate and talented people are staggering. Indy is where it's at!

Indie games are good, but if privacy is a concern be careful of any game developed in a big engine like unity. My firewall pings a warning every time I launch a unity game because they all send analytics data back to unity. If it's single player and you block all outgoing connections by default, you're fine though.

True, but to be quite honest, I'm not that paranoid. The unity analytics I don't care about, they can have that. I wouldn't like it if they were doing something beyound checking out how their engine works, but I don't think that's happening yet (although I might be mistaken)
