Why is a developer or publisher follow a curator follow? And why is there a limit of only 100? This is stupid.
Now I unfollowed some curators without any curations, but now I have to notice that unfollows their developer homepage.
On My Curators you can see who you follow.
To check the developer homepage, you have to Curator logo link -> About -> View Group -> Associated Game -> developer homepage. Easy. Very obvious.
How many "curators" do you follow? How empty is that "my curators" list for you?
So, what do I do now? Unfollow some devs and curators I want to follow?
Following Curators makes sense to cap, because that is more complex algorithm than just listing news. The Curator recommendations is an algorithm. But, I don't understand why developers and publisher count in the same limit. Maybe Steam wants you to think about what you follow, so that each follow has a meaning (for their algorithm and for you). I mean regardless of any artificial limit, this is true anyway, so you are advised to limit yourself if there is none.
I do follow 44 in total. And weirdly 4 Curators have empty pages now, plus 1 publisher page which I unfollow now (plus 1 Steam Hardware that is empty too, why doesn't it list all Steam Hardware at least?). I assume they deleted all entries, but no idea why that happened. Maybe they migrated to the Steam News page https://store.steampowered.com/news/ , as those Curators with empty page are mostly news outlets: The Verge, Ars Techinca News, Game Informer Magazine, IndieGames. But that is not the same, because their recommendations will not appear anymore.
