The only thing that disappointed me about Universe was that it stopped when it was just getting going.
I didnt mind a different approach, and it was way too slow to start, but it did get moving and I think did start getting fun/interesting.
Though as I understand, the comics are an even bigger mess than the show and absolutely not worth the time.
The comics don't continue anything. They add a bunch of shit that didn't make sense and then end the run without solving anything.

I'll be candid I kind of blocked it out.
This was because the fans were angry that the network canceled Atlantis and preferred to cause the destruction of the franchise.
yes, and then when a new series was announced AMAZON decided to cancel it again, because they wanted a 'series" broader with the audience than even sgu. so basically a starwars/nutrek type series.
season 1 doomed the series, basically lack of any aliens at all, and when the nakai appeared halfway they weren't a major threat,
the drones were suppose to rectify that situation in season 2 and 3(if it had ever been aired)
