It's puritan because it equates sexual desire with evil, unconditionally. It's secular because puritanism is usually associated with protestantism, but in this case it finds its way through some kind of political moralism that is only indirectly connected with the pervasive puritanism in the American society
Humans are animals but we usually wear clothes when in public spaces. There is a difference between having desires and acting on them in a way that would make others uncomfortable.
what is the threshold for that is culturally subjective. In many contexts, asking for nudes on social media is a normal thing to do.
But that’s the thing I’m not equating sexual desire with evil. I never said he was evil for being horny, or evil at all. I said he’s a pig because he’s acting like a pig. That’s also not what secular means.
