He’s still taken seriously in these organizations despite all the allegations against him. Every day this stuff gets easier. I’ve partly automated it.

You know, one of the reasons women make better feds is they don't have such a severe, unseemly need to seek out sexual violence. I want to find the Catherine Shakdams. This guy even looks like a cop.

Having a sexuality is normal. Joking about it in public is normal. Having a sexuality does not make you less moral. Having a sexuality is not in conflict with holding radical political values. Being heterosexual is not a sign of immorality. Joking in a stressful and grave situation is not immoral. Being sad and serious 24/7 doesn't alleviate the consequences of a genocide. The puritanical values of the New York middle class are not universal despite the immense cultural power of the American empire.

If this guy sexually assaulted somebody, we can talk about it. But focusing on the evidence or testimonies, not on whatever this story means to you.

Exactly this. Thank you. Although I've never heard of this guy before so I don't have any context, but being anti-genocide is not exactly what I'd call a radical political view tbh

no view is radical. Political acts are radical or not. Going on a flotilla and risk your wellbeing is reasonably radical, come on.

I've genuinely never seen someone cite this guy (or knew he existed) where is he being taken seriously?

[–] eldavi@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 days ago

he's not citeable since he's an struggling actor that's friends with the anti-zionist & radlib influencer known as iamblakely.

this feels like an astro turfed post considering that his only contribution to anything is his jewish identity.

Why people in this comment section so sexist? This is a blatant objectification of women, he is prioritising their sexual characteristic over the fact that they are human beings. You don't see women posting things like this. How is there nothing wrong with asking strangers to send vulnerable pictures of their naked bodies?

Why people in this comment section so sexist?

I dunno. Why are you being so sexist?

This is a blatant objectification of women

It's not. Despite what your pseudofeminist TikTok feed tells you, it's possible to both respect women and want to see them naked.

he is prioritising their sexual characteristic over the fact that they are human beings

No, he isn't. Nothing about his post dehumanizes women, only invites them to engage in casual sexual activity. That's only disrespectful to the women in question from a very puritanical, all-hetero-sex-is-evil worldview.

How is there nothing wrong with asking strangers to send vulnerable pictures of their naked bodies?

Because, and stay with me here, I know it's a tough concept to grasp, there's absolutely nothing wrong with sharing nudes, and therefore nothing wrong with asking for them, unless you don't take no for an answer.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.

[–] chobeat@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 days ago (3 children)

Asking for nudes as being intrinsically sexist and objectifying is something that makes sense only in the American liberal middle-class discourse and mores. Outside, this stuff is a non sequitur.

Is there more context to this? Or have we really reached a point in secular puritans discourse where asking for nudes (as a blanket ask, even, not directed at anyone in particular) is "sexual violence"?

People should send nude pictures to people who take action against the Zionist ethnostate.

What’s the problem here?
