It's important for citizens to understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of the Canadian and US economy before they decide that the country needs a 'deal'. I've brought together a bunch of background info that I haven't heard much of from the legacy media. Trump keeps saying that America is a failed state and only he can save it. When your own leader trash talks the country, something is definitely amiss. But I am reminded of the old adage "When America sneezes, Canada gets pneumonia'. Now, it is America that has pneumonia and Canada is relatively healthy. The more distance we can put between Canada and the US, the better our chances of survival.
