Perhaps worth clearing up that although Count Binface was standing in yesterday's Clacton by election, this isn't a photo from that, but (I think) from Andy Burnham's successful bid to be the MP of Makerfield, near Manchester.
It does, however, significantly add to the comedy that the caption is accurate.
