While age beackets are not monoliths, they do have similar experiences from their lives that shape their opinions. For Zoomers and younger Millennials, they grew up watching liberalism eat itself like a cancer so it's not surprising that they are more in favor of abolishing the system than Boomers who found their success from that system. It's the same reason that Poles and Russians who lived through the Nazi genocide of their homelands had such strong anti-fascist tendencies while a chunk who grew up after the fall of the Iron Curtain became Neo-Nazis.

People across all age groups are abandoning liberalism, but it is more stark in the younger generations because they do not yet have entrenched believe systems.

I'm certainly not saying there aren't some patterns to observe. But for the large part it's massively overstated and overplayed. They certainly don't have differing material interests. The difference in 90% of actual political views is pretty marginal.
