If you don’t know what Pandemic Legacy is then shhh don’t worry.
It's more like lending or loaning; you are the one who borrows or rents from them!
Also, that'd be technically not true ("see everything") if you were to password-protect your stuff over there. But yeah, that'd be way too much of a hassle; it's best to get out own storage.
