I bet they still are, and were before protests too. We have an enormous surveillance state.

and it makes sense considering what good old fashioned style protesting did for the mexicans in 2017.

i doubt very much that they would have ended up with president shienbaum if it weren't tiktok sharing the american civil rights style protests taking place all across mexico and it make it clear why they're trying to hard to keep american ignorant of what happened to their closest neighbor.
