I love this game, and I decide to put some effort to make a good reading for the people who would love to talk on this game. All feedback is welcome, and dicussion even better.

Hi, I bought two copies to play with my son and I wanted to ask: in my own invite only server... is it possible to build a base that could automatically withstand any enemy raid? Or is it rigged so the attack scales according to your level/base/pals?

Like the other already added, you can tweak the value, but if you add your bases in "easier" island the raids gets easier to handle. Additionally, if you circle your base with walls without any doors the raids are completed ignored. The merchants too.

I'm not OP but have 300 hours in Palworld: yes. While raids are kind of rare anyway (from my and my wife's experience), they do scale based on the continent your base is on, but you can totally beef up your pals to make them fully defensible against raids. There are buildables in the tech tree for defenses like walls and turrets.

From what I recall, raids are scaled. Don't recall what they scale off. Possibly based on the highest level of players within a guild, or maybe of pals within a base.

If you are running a standalone server, there is a server config file with a fair amount of options, might be able to tweak some settings there for damage.

One setting I do know exists is you can turn off the slow damage over time to structures built outside of a bases radius, increase the number of pals a base can support, the number of bases that can be made.

Not sure what options you can set if just hosting a game and inviting people.

A common strategy to mostly eliminate raids, at least when I last played, was to build bases in a few specific locations that were either impossible, or difficult for the attackers to path to, but means location options are a bit limited as there are only a handful of good building spots like that.

You can just turn off raids entirely, too
