Language practice and fun. I read the JP lines out loud, looking up any words I'm unfamiliar with. I then give an English translation as best I can, and I move on. The goal isn't to create some super-cool better-than-official translation, or to put down the original translation in anyway. Just language practice and fun.

It certainly sounds like a fun exercise. Can't say I ever got that far with my JP practice but it's definitely something I'd like to get to some day as well (minus streaming, I'm done with that at this point).

How did it go? If you don't mind me asking.
