Web developer, or business developer. A lot of inter-system communications these days is in JSON, whether there is any JavaScript involved or not.

Sure, but then you'd be using json_encode, json.dumps, Json.Serialize, etc., not JSON.stringify.

Do people really conflate json and javascript normally though? Java and javacript I get but no one actually says the full json acronym and it basically has an identity of its own.
