It happens occasionally for retail, especially if they're hiring you for anything above grunt work. Manager? Even shift lead? You're likely looking for at least two rounds of interviewing. I had sales positions that wanted me to interview two or three times as well.

I mean, I understand the first 15 minute talk with some hiring manager, before the real interview, to align rough expectations and filter out absolute zeroes without bothering the skilled workers. I wouldn't want to talk to all of them either when I got work to do.

But yeah it's crazy out there.
