praise stencho i have four other types of garlic if we gotta get rid of our dessicated shit.

Garlic powder is just so easy though. I wouldn't chop up a clove of garlic just to put on fries or whatever, but I'd sprinkle some with some paprika, salt and pepper, and make them taste fucking amazing with almost zero effort.

It's also something I can always have on hand. Whole garlic is nice and all, but I have to use it within a few weeks/months or it starts to go bad. Garlic powder I can keep around for years and I'll usually run out before it expires.

Garlic salt is a cool concept but I prefer atomizing my seasonings to be able to control the ratios myself. With mixes you're kind locked in to the ratio the manufacturer chooses.

Do what you want though, I'm not here to judge. I just like using garlic powder.
