It used to be that if something sparked your curiosity, there weren't a lot of readily available sources for information, unless your parents bought an encyclopedia when you were a kid, but that went out of date pretty fast. Your interest in something had to be strong enough that you'd stake out some re to go to the library and do some research. You're not likely to do that unless you've got a new obsession with Spanish History, so your curiosity would go unfulfilled.

Today, we can answer almost any question in an instant, so why not indulge that curiosity? It's WRONG to question where that curiosity leads anyone. If it's Spanish history, or the Romans, or anything else, that's where their curiosity went, and that should always be encouraged, not questioned or mocked.
