The adhd version of this is that you end up with 37 new tabs in the background. Who in turn spawn even more

Same. I'm neurtypical af (not a flex, just not interesting) and I'll go down rabbit holes from time to time if I find something to be interesting. And it's weird, my parents took me to Gettysburg to see the battlefields as a kid and it was boring as fuck. I have my own kids now and I'm debating taking them to Gettysburg to see the battlefields.

I think, as I've grown to learn more about the world, I make more connections to my own personal experiences, and so I find more things interesting. I can reasonably say I've experienced a lot, and so I find a connection with more random shit than I did when I was younger.
