It's a multifaceted problem. The post is more about treating the symptom sure, but those symptoms are getting pretty bad.

It's both, we seem incapable of stopping C02 in at least the next 100 years.

even if we went to carbon Zero today, the earth will keep warming up for the next ~100 years, because the carbon we already put in the air keeps acting like a blanket, and the ice will keep melting.

We need to at least consider other options, because what we're trying isn't working and not working fast enough at all.

There no good reason to think a technical solution can't fix a problem created by capitalism
