If you need more context on why Rails needs a new leadership, here is David Celis summing it up a year ago, Paul Battley a few weeks ago, and - even though it is hard to believe - it even got worse since then.

Been using it for ten years. Great language with great package manager. Nowadays it feels like it's missing a lot of the development experience improvements of other languages, but I still prefer it to python. Apparently it's good for LLMs too.
