Cant speak to it specifically, but Saito's marxology and analysis of what the ecological problems are and how they relate to capitalist production is usually good and useful, at least insofars as theory in general is useful.
Watch out for his views on Engels and AES, he hates the latter (except Cuba) and blames them on the former (except Cuba). It doesnt usually ruin his books for me, but he basically always talks about the evils of "Engelsism-Stalinism" at least once.
In terms of his solutions, Saito is useless he's completely utopian-idealismbrained and believes the "3.5% of the pop can create real change" thing and belives if he spreads the Good Word of Eco-Marxism enough the Revolution will Just Happen.
