I'm surprised this is even news. This is how the India hiring market works. They have 3-month notice periods. And surely during that time they're juggling multiple interviews and job offers.

If that's a problem, hire somewhere else. Or be the best offer.

Lmao three months?!? Let me guess, there’s nothing stopping the company from telling you to pack up your shit when you give them that notice leaving the possibility of 3 months of unemployment?

Oh, no, they're not as fucked up as the US. The contract will state number of days and BOTH parties have to adhere to it.
