This is what happens when the media suppresses the coverage of the warehouse attacks and other negative news from the war, but the side effects still leak out and affect regular people's lives.

It's perfectly summed up by the girl who doesn't believe drone strikes could burn down a whole warehouse, which seems ridiculous because we've seen videos of it happening 20-some times in the last few weeks, but it's a completely logical conclusion to make if she's gotten vague news reports and an email telling her that she's now bankrupt. Same thing happened with the fuel crisis when people assumed the shortage was made up by someone making money off them.
