ELEPHANTS! AT LAST!

I really want to find out what Anatolia's deal is and why she has a gauntlets shaped like an Earth firearm which appears to shoot things.

Mechanics are clearly building off Three Houses but seem to be a bit more refined, and classes look a bit more inventive. I like that there actually seems to be a point to the world map. Weird that Theodora is the only character who can use batallions. Also a shame that Engage's break mechanic doesn't appear to have carried over; that gave an actual reason to use heavy armour.

A lot of people feel like Eshvel is a rug pull, but I suspect the trailer is a little misleading, considering how much it focuses on Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda. Each of them is able to rewind turns, which in Three Houses is an ability granted by Sothis herself. Notice that Eshvel is Sothis' chosen champion?

My prediction is that the game will start with Sothis calling Eshvel to defeat Balor. Eshvel can't fully travel back in time, they can just project their consciousness back. They will thus fulfil a narrative role cparable to Sothis in Three Houses and Arval in Three Hopes, chatting to the heroes in their minds and nudging them in ways to save the future but not actually taking yi the battlefield themself.
