I use Summit, and I am fairly new to Lemmy.

I got banned from https://lemmy.world/c/dull_mens_club

I am quite shocked! I wanted to make a post about this fart which I produced that I believe my neighbors heard. After composing the post, I got a message that I am banned. ME!? Why!? And when I opened my profile I couldn't see any of my posts at https://lemmy.world/c/dull_mens_club

Is it possible to see them so I can figure out the reason

I guess i was deemed a troll, this modlog feature is cool, open data!

Ps: I was able to see the modlog within Summit app.

What about reaching the mod, do you message them like normal users, or is there a modmail feature similar to reddit?

Also, do you think I was trolling?!

Honestly, I'd never really message a mod. I've got shit on my account and it doesn't bother me. You just can't interact with the affected community.

If you do want to get back in that particular community, I would read the rules and determine 1) if there's anything forbidding you from contacting mods and 2) if your post broke any of the rules. If you did break a rule and a appeal is allowed you could message them, and note that you recognize the specific rule you broke, apologize, ask for forgiveness and assure them you'll be diligent in following rules going forward. I wouldn't hold your breath though, cause they've got lives of their own. I definitely would post to power tripping mods or whatever, besmirching them will get you nowhere.

I'm not gonna make an assessment on your actions.

But I found this community and a rule/law of the land made me confused, but there are like 10 mods!

Which one should I message!? There should be a modmail thing like reddit but per my online searching and ai asking it seems like lemmy don't have that feature.. But then I am literally mentally retarded (no joke, like medically)
