A place to discuss positive changes that can make work more equitable, and to vent about current practices. We are NOT against work; we just want the fruits of our labor to be recognized better.
Our Philosophies:
- All workers must be paid a living wage for their labor.
- Income inequality is the main cause of lower living standards.
- Workers must join together and fight back for what is rightfully theirs.
- We must not be divided and conquered. Workers gain the most when they focus on unifying issues.
Our Goals
- Higher wages for underpaid workers.
- Better worker representation, including but not limited to unions.
- Better and fewer working hours.
- Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
- Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

I was in a corpo burger joint the other day (I know, not my choice, but an elderly neighbor I help out). It was filthy, understaffed, with kiosks for ordering. We refused to use it, and a 50ish guy in line told us it was faster. I said they don't pay us to do that, they can hire enough employees, and he made that no one wants to work comment. I said they can pay enough to live, and he said something about life choices. I said I know people with degrees working at Starbucks, he said he was a high school drop out and doing well, it was poor choices. I snapped and said, "No! They can afford to pay people a living wage, aren't doing that, and your burger still costs as much as Olive Garden!" He didn't say anything else, I continued chatting with the lawn guys ahead of us, as we waited.
