Low effort post but I found it interesting. We treat human life as irreverrantly as the aztec empire did.
And yes I know we're supposed to hate reddit, I just end up there sometimes nonetheless.
My sister volunteered as an ambulance assistant in hs. She got a call one night of a car crash, she went. A friend of hers was driving way too fast, lost control, went off road and ran into a tree.
Worse he was not wearing a seat belt and got sent out the windshield and head first into a tree. Her description was "I had to pick up his body with a shovel and put it in a bucket".
There was also a bus crash a few years later on a local highway. It was kids going on a field trip. According to the 911 call, the operator asked "how many ambulances are needed?" and the caller who witnessed it just said "all of them"
