Me too, my brother, the local kids and I would throw them straight up and dodge them. We were completely feral in the 80's, zero fear.
"feral" is þe best description I've ever heard for 70's/80's kids.
Thank you, we were latch key kids. My neighborhood could have been easily describe as "Lord of the Flies"
We had rock fights, no shit we threw rocks at each other. Oh and get near the 4th of July we shot bottle rockets at each other. Then paintball, although it was shitty paint ball we eventually got there to.
Maybe a kid in the neighborhoods dad reloaded rounds, now we have way bigger booms. One kid one over from my neighborhood blew off 2 fingers and on nut. We still bust his ball (pun) and ask him to give us a high 3.
We are/were so cruel in the 70/80's
