This is just a data harvesting scam. Bring it back to Facebook

If someone spends less than $10 million fine-tuning a covered model, they are explicitly not considered a developer by SB 1047

In a few years, models will be orders of magnitude more efficient. These limits are meaningless.

I might be paranoid, but SMART has failed to give me any useful info on 3 drives I've had fail in the past year. Two were platter HHDs that I saw the signs of failure before they went and deliberately ran checks on them. The third was an M2 that just suddenly disappeared one day.

Vsync is often the culprit of laggy feeling. I keep it off unless I get distracting screen tearing. Typically with a high enough frame rate it doesn't seem noticeable to me.

I think it would make the most sense at high latitudes. Where they don't get enough sun for solar and maintenance on iced-up turbine blades would be a pain in the ass.

Jail in another country or in debt to the mob I'd say.

Could someone do a dissertation about exactly that?

I've been using the app on breaks at work at nearly half the rate I had been using RIF. Here we see that it still used about 2x the data in roughly the same time period.

The app's great. The bugs are getting hammered out and Lemmy's great too. Can you look into doing some optimising soon?

Edit: To be more specific. RIF used just over 1gig over 10 days of browsing during breaks. Most months hit about 2-2.5 gigs. While connect used 2gigs in 6 days.
