The sad thing is, it mostly deserved to get cancelled overall.
It just sucks that right near the end it seemed to finally find its footing and maybe start getting good... :(
I don't think it deserved to be cancelled, but I understand why fans of the previous series' hated it if they were expecting the fun, campy style of SG1 and Atlantis. I never watched SG1 or Atlantis until AFTER universe, because I saw the original movie they were all based on and thought it was kinda lame.
