Unbiased Men's Liberation

Hey ✌️

This is a counter group to Men’s Liberation on Lemmy.ca

Personally I’ve found online communities to be very helpful to organize, and process my thoughts so I wanted to create a place where people could post, and comment about what’s on their mind without fear of being silenced.

Full disclosure I indentify as nonbinary 😝

fellas if she won't let you cry in her shoulders in full embrace for hours in cathartic release of years of loneliness and trauma she's not the one

Women are not there to take your trauma dumps. You can cry one your male friend's shoulder too, and if you're a man allow your male friends to cry on yours even encourage if you see they're feeling bad. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

"I am emotionally unavailable, and spiteful about that."

Thats what people see when you say this.

Given that that part seems to be about long term relationships I don't see an issue with it. If you're not willing to do that for your partner you're not someone I'd want to be in a relationship with.

Though I agree that isn't really the solution because it's probably the one context where it actually happens with some frequency and it really needs to be more of a thing in just male friendships.
